Thoughtful Grooming, Tailored to Your pet
Every grooming appointment is thoughtfully tailored to your dog’s coat, comfort, personality, and stage of life - because no two dogs are exactly alike.
Whether they’re visiting for routine maintenance, seasonal coat care, or simply a fresh start, every appointment is approached with patience, kindness, and respect.
My Philosophy
For me, grooming has never been about creating the “perfect” haircut.
It’s about building trust.
Years of hands-on grooming experience have shaped the calm, individualized approach I bring to every appointment.
I pay close attention to body language, mobility, skin and coat condition, behavior, and overall comfort.
Grooming offers a unique opportunity to notice subtle changes - sometimes the first signs that something may be different. Those observations can lead to important conversations and help families seek veterinary care sooner when needed.
Every companion deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable.
Sometimes that means completing everything we planned.
Sometimes it means adjusting the appointment to meet your pet’s needs that day.
Their wellbeing always comes first.
“Gabby is passionate about dogs, is gentle, honest, caring, and professional. We consider her a part of our family" - Christie

Caring for aging pets with patience, flexibility, and dignity is one of the values that inspired Kindred Crossing Companion Care.

FAQs
Whether it’s your dog’s first appointment or they’ve been professionally groomed for years, these are some of the questions I hear most often.
-
Every pet is unique, so appointments are priced based on several factors, including breed, size, coat condition, grooming history, temperament, and the amount of time required.
Before your first appointment, you’ll receive a personalized estimate so you know what to expect. There are never any surprise charges.
-
Every full grooming appointment includes bathing, drying, brushing, nail care, ear cleaning, and styling tailored to your dog’s coat and needs. Products and techniques are selected specifically for your dog’s skin, coat, and comfort.
-
Most appointments take between one and three hours, depending on your pet’s size, coat, behavior, and the services being performed.
Rather than rushing through appointments, I work at a pace that prioritizes safety, comfort, and quality.
-
Many companions feel more relaxed in the quiet, one-on-one environment of a mobile grooming salon.
I take time to build trust, work patiently, and adjust the appointment as needed. My goal is always to create a positive experience rather than forcing a schedule.
-
Yes. Early grooming experiences help build confidence for a lifetime.
Puppy appointments focus on gentle introductions, handling, and helping your puppy become comfortable with the grooming process.
-
Absolutely.
Older companions often benefit from a slower pace, additional breaks, supportive handling, and adjustments based on mobility or medical concerns.
Comfort always comes before cosmetic perfection.
-
In many cases, yes.
Every appointment is customized to your companion’s individual needs. If your dog has mobility challenges, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, or other health concerns, we’ll discuss them before the appointment so I can adapt my approach whenever possible.
-
Yes. Optional wellness upgrades such as the CO₂ Spa Treatment, Brown Sugar Paw Treatment, and Clean Collar Cleanse can be added to many appointments.
These services are designed to support healthy skin, coats, and paws while enhancing your companion’s overall comfort.

To remain a grooming client, dogs are required to stay on a regular schedule of every 4–8 weeks. This allows me to provide the best care for your dog while ensuring consistent availability for all of my clients.
Most dogs thrive on a grooming schedule within that 4–8 week window, although the ideal timing depends on their breed, coat type, lifestyle, and grooming needs. Regular grooming helps maintain healthy skin and coat, prevents matting, and makes each appointment more comfortable and less stressful.
Because my schedule fills well in advance, I encourage clients to reserve appointments for the entire year. Booking ahead helps ensure you keep the days and times that work best for your schedule while guaranteeing your place on my calendar.
-
Your pet’s wellbeing always comes first.
If they become overly stressed, uncomfortable, or fatigued, we may modify the appointment or stop early. My priority is creating positive grooming experiences that build trust over time.
-
Because grooming is about more than appearance.
A grooming appointment offers an opportunity to notice changes in skin, coat, mobility, behavior, and comfort that can affect your companion’s overall quality of life. My philosophy has always been to care for the whole dog, not just the haircut.
That same philosophy has grown into Kindred Crossing Companion Care, where I support families through aging, quality-of-life conversations, and end-of-life planning alongside my grooming work.
Every companion deserves grooming that begins with trust, patience, and understanding.
